Early & modern Commemoratives

Hey Folks,

I recently have started collecting early US Mint commemoratives, Mostly because I'm kinda a history nut, and I think the commemoratives are a walk through time not to mention the art in the designs of each coin. My question is there any markets out there for purchasing these outside of EBay? I like the graded ones only because you seem to know what you are getting, but the premium is sky high. Just looking for a reasonable alternative. Thanks

The best place I know if is at coin shows = low overhead and good competition. Also check out local and e-dealers.

If you're really interested you might want to think about hooking up with others of like interest. Join a collector's club/org. You'll surely find lots of camaraderie, good information, leads, and likely lots of trading.
